August, or as we like to call it, “Dogust,” is here! It’s the universal birthday month for shelter dogs, and we are beyond excited to celebrate this special time with our furry friends and wonderful community. At DogTowne, we’re rolling out some fantastic promotions and activities all month long to make this Dogust unforgettable.
Special Promotions and Events
1. Treat and Merch Sales for a Cause
We’re thrilled to announce that 100% of all treat and merchandise sales this month will be donated to the Lakeville Animal Shelter. Every purchase you make will directly support the care and well-being of dogs looking for their forever homes. From delicious treats to fun toys and stylish accessories, our shop has everything your pup needs. It’s the perfect way to spoil your dog, while contributing to a great cause.
2. Dog Supply Drive
We’re working with re:fab painting and renovations, in hosting a dog supply drive throughout August to collect essential items for the Lakeville Animal Shelter. We’re looking for donations of dog food, blankets, toys and cleaning supplies. Every little bit helps, and your generosity will make a huge difference in the lives of shelter dogs. Drop off your donations at DogTowne or the re:fab office at 328 Bedford St. in Lakeville MA, and let’s work together to give these pups the comfort and care they deserve.
3. Shout Outs to Adopted Dogs
We love celebrating our adopted pups! All August long, we’ll be giving shout outs to all the dogs in our care that have found their forever homes from a shelter. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram to see heartwarming stories and adorable pictures of our happy, adopted friends. These stories are a testament to the incredible love and companionship that adopted dogs bring into our lives.
